For
the life time momorable visit to Chitwan National Park,
we do prove to our valuable guest as below:
Elephant Safari
Time and experience have proved that the best way to
view animals in the wild is from atop an elephant, so
at Jungle Safari Resort we take you by elephant-back
safari to view the wildlife in its natural habitat.
Safety and security being our first concern, you will
always be accompanied in the jungle, by one of our professional
guides or naturalists.
Jeep Drive
For an adventurous excursion, we also offer to take
you through the road-less jungle in a four-wheel drive
vehicle. From the open jeep, the sights and sounds of
animals in the wild can be an unforgettable experience.
Elephant Breeding Centre
Of the two elephant-breeding centres that exist in the
world, one lies in the Chitwan National Park. In Nepal,
the elephant is quickly becoming one of the most endangered
animals and the centre was established to increase its
numbers. You have the opportunity to visit the centre,
learn about the efforts to increase the pachyderm population
and see several cow elephants and their calves.
Jungle Walk and Bird Watching
If experiencing the wild plains of Nepal and bird-watching
interests you, we suggest you take a jungle walk with
our professional naturalist. This enables you to see
birds and other wildlife at close range. Our Naturalist
will help you to spot and identify birds, both local
and migratory that are found in the park.
Canoe Ride
A slow canoe ride on the gentle rivers of the lower
Nepal plains is an experience that is surpassed in few
countries of the world. At Jungle Safari Resort we take
you by hand-carved, dug-out canoe along the Rapti River
– the best way to view the riverside scenery,
including the sighting of crocodiles and other aquatic
wildlife.
Tharu Village Tour
But jungle scenery, birds and animals alone do not make
up the unique features of Chitwan National Park. The
indigenous local people, the Tharus, are also of immense
interest. A professional guide/expert will accompany
you through the area to help you gather insights into
the Tharu way of life.
Tharu Culture Program
A cultural programme performed by the Tharus will be
another highlight of your visit to the Jungle Safari
Resort. The Tharus, in their colourful, traditional
costumes are bound to captivate you, with their folktales
music and dancing. |
